Deck Additions was founded in 2007 by William Pontius, better known as Billy to his friends. The company name was changed from

Dry-B-Lo of Northeast Atlanta, which specialized in deck drain systems, in order to expand construction services to include new deck construction, deck restoration, patios, walkways, retaining walls and screened-in porches.

Bill was raised in the Atlanta area, specifically Dunwoody, Georgia. He attended North Springs High School, and Riverside Military Acadamy, as well as Georgia Southern University from 1988 to 1992 where he studied Business and Construction Management.

From 1985 thru ’88, he Rehabed homes in cabbage town and worked in the pool industry during summers while in college and then again until 1995. Bill founded Dry-B-Lo of Northeast Atlanta in ’97 and changed business names in 2007.

Bill is a single dad raising two children and currently resides in Suwanee, Georgia where his business is also based.
